Focus room

Work alongside other people. No camera, no sign-up. Three taps and you’re in.

Step 1 of 3

Checking who’s here…

What are you working on?

Others will only see this word. No names, no camera, no chat.

How this works, and why

What is body doubling?

Body doubling means doing a task while someone else is there, working on their own thing. Many people with ADHD say it makes starting and keeping going easier, a bit like how a library makes studying easier than your bedroom.

Does it work?

Honestly, we don’t know yet. It is one of the most talked-about ADHD strategies, but as of 2026 the research is a handful of tiny studies with mixed results. It is free, harmless and easy to try, so the best test is your own: try a session and see.

How this room works

When you join, you’re placed in a small room with up to nine other people. Everyone sees how many are here, what kind of thing each person picked (work, study, admin, chores or creative) and how long they have left. That’s all. There are no names, faces or messages, so there’s nothing to manage and nothing to perform.

Common questions

What is body doubling for ADHD?

Working on a task while another person is present, in person or online. Many people with ADHD find it helps them start and stay on task.

Is body doubling backed by research?

Not yet. As of 2026 there are only a few very small studies with mixed results. It is low cost and harmless, so it is reasonable to try.

Do I need a camera or an account?

No. This room has no camera, no account and no chat. Others only see that someone is working, the activity type you chose and your time left.
